Installation method of expansion bolts
Installation Method:
1. Tools Required: Hand drill (or impact drill), drill bit matching the expansion bolt expansion ring, hammer, socket wrench (or hex key wrench), pencil, expansion bolt kit.
2. Position Marking: Use a pencil to mark the exact position of the expansion bolt on the installation surface.
3. Drilling: Use an electric drill or impact drill to make holes at the marked positions. The hole depth should be slightly larger than the length of the expansion bolt to ensure that the expansion tube can fully enter the wall. The hole diameter should be determined according to the outer diameter of the expansion tube. For example, a 6MM bolt should be drilled with a 10MM hole, and an 8MM bolt should be drilled with a 12MM hole.
4. Inserting the Bolt: Insert the expansion bolt into the hole. The direction should be consistent with the tightening force direction.
5. Gradual Tightening: Slowly tighten the nut with a socket wrench or hex key wrench. Do not tighten it all at once. Gradually apply tension until the tail of the bolt expands and is fixed.
