The following are the consequences of using high-strength bolts instead of temporary bolts:
When installing high-strength bolts, construction workers save trouble and directly use high-strength bolts instead of temporary bolts for one-time fixation.
1) When the hole position is not correct, force the hole L to damage the thread of the high-strength bolt, resulting in changes in the torque coefficient and pre-tension.
2) It is possible that the connecting plate will generate internal stress, resulting in insufficient pre-tightening force of the high-strength bolt, thereby reducing the connection strength.
The following methods are used to prevent construction workers from directly replacing temporary bolts with high-strength bolts:
In strict accordance with the GB50205-2001 specifications and design requirements, technical disclosures are made to the construction workers; the technical disclosure clearly stipulates that when high-strength bolts are installed, 100% of the holes must be inspected with a hole tester, and then fixed with temporary bolts. If there are any wrong holes, after repairing the holes, install temporary bolts. Finally, remove the temporary bolts and replace them with high-strength bolts.
